Sam has been playing guitar for 15 years; achieving grade 8 in acoustic guitar, studying at the academy of contemporary music and also currently studying his final year of music at university. Sam has explored a number of contemporary genres ranging from jazz, to blues, pop, rock and more. This includes particular study of percussive fingerstyle guitar, like Andy McKee and Chris Woods. Sam has also completed grade 5 music theory and grade 5 piano. He has also performed in several bands playing guitar, bass and keys. In more recent years he has taken a keen interest in the creative side of music and has been exploring songwriting.
